S.Amdt. 5754

SA 5754. Ms. ROSEN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to
amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide
for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was
ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

Strike section 203 and insert the following:

SEC. 203. PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER BENEFITS PROGRAM AND COPS
HIRING PROGRAM.

In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is
appropriated to the Attorney General for fiscal year 2026,
out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated,
to remain available until September 30, 2029, $1,000,000,000
for the purpose of carrying out the Public Safety Officers'
Death Benefits Program under part L of title I of the Omnibus
Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10281
et seq.) and $1,000,000,000 for the purpose of carrying out
the COPS Hiring Program under part Q of title I of the
Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C.
10381 et seq.), no amount of which may be used for or
transferred to the Anti-Weaponization Fund, or any successor
fund.
