SA 5794. Mr. PADILLA submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of the amendment, add the following: SEC. 204. PROHIBITING THE USE OF SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION DATA IN IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS. None of the funds provided by this Act or by any other Act may be used by the Secretary of Homeland Security-- (1) to create State citizenship lists; or (2) to place in detention, remove, refer for a decision whether to initiate removal proceedings, or initiate removal proceedings [[Page S2638]] against, any individual based on information shared by, or obtained from, the Social Security Administration. ______
