The GRAIN DRY Act changes the 2008 Food, Conservation, and Energy Act so that farmers can use federal storage‑facility loan money to construct or improve propane storage tanks that they use for agricultural production. This makes propane storage an eligible project for loan funding, helping producers secure the fuel infrastructure they need for their operations.

Key Provisions

  • Specifically adds propane storage as an eligible use under the storage facility loan program, expanding the types of infrastructure that can receive federal loan assistance.
