No Racketeers on our Shores Act

Introduced July 22, 2026

AI-Generated Summary

Updated July 29, 2026 at 3:52 AM UTC

The bill amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to make it possible to deny entry to, or remove from the United States, any non‑U.S. person who, while acting as an official of a foreign government, discriminates economically against U.S. persons. It targets foreign officials who use investigations, enforcement actions, licensing decisions, fines, taxes or similar regulatory tools in a way that is harsher or less fair toward U.S. individuals or businesses than toward non‑U.S. parties.

Key Provisions

  • Adds a new inadmissibility ground (labeled “Economic discrimination”) that bars any alien who, as a foreign government official, imposes more severe, more frequent, or less procedurally favorable regulatory burdens on a U.S. person compared to a similarly situated non‑U.S. person.
  • Adds a corresponding deportability ground (also called “Economic discrimination”) that allows removal of any alien who, while serving as a foreign government official, engages in the same discriminatory regulatory actions against U.S. persons.
