   Inserted: "(IV) a hospital that is a nonprofit corporation, the sole member of which was recognized as a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health as of April 20, 1983, that specifies in its articles of incorporation that at least 50 percent of its total discharges must have a principal finding of neoplastic disease, as defined in subparagraph (E), and that is a freestanding facility licensed for less than 131 acute care beds;"; and

   Inserted: (2) in subparagraph (E), by striking "(II) and (III)" and inserting "(II), (III), and (IV)".

   Inserted: (b) Effective Date.--The amendments made by this section shall apply to cost reporting periods beginning after the date of enactment of this Act.
