SA 3487. Mr. BINGAMAN (for himself, Ms. Snowe, Mr. Harkin, Mr. Conrad, and Mr. Burris) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 3452 proposed by Mr. Rockefeller to the bill H.R. 1586, to impose an additional tax on bonuses received from certain TARP recipients; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of subtitle B of title IV, add the following: SEC. 419. REPEAL OF ESSENTIAL AIR SERVICE LOCAL PARTICIPATION PROGRAM. (a) In General.--Subchapter II of chapter 417 of title 49, United States Code, is amended by striking section 41747, and such title 49 shall be applied as if such section 41747 had not been enacted. (b) Clerical Amendment.--The table of sections for chapter 417 of title 49, United States Code, is amended by striking the item relating to section 41747. ______
